Upgrade Your illumy Password - Simple Steps for Better Security

Your illumy password is like a key to your messages, calls, and files. You want to keep it safe and change it sometimes.

Here’s how to change your password in illumy.

Change the Password in a Web Browser

• Go to https://www.illumy.com and sign in with your email and password.
• Click on your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen.
• Click the Settings icon (that looks like a gear).
• On the left side of the screen, click “Account.”
• Under “Account Details,” find the “Change password” link and click it.
• You’ll need to type your current password. If you don’t remember it, click “Forgot password” and follow the steps to reset your password. 
• Type a new password in the second and third boxes. Make sure your new password is strong and hard to guess. 
• Click the Save button.
• You’ll see a green message that says your password was changed.

Change the Password in the Mobile App

• Open the illumy app on your phone or tablet and sign in with your email and password.
• Tap your picture in the top left corner of the screen.
• Tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear).
• Tap “Account” to see your account settings.
• In the Change Password section, type your current password.
• If you don’t remember your current password, tap “Forgot password” and follow the steps to reset your password. 
• Type a new password in the “New password” box, and again in the “Confirm password” box. Make sure your new password is strong and hard to guess. 
• Tap the Save button.
• You’ll see a gray message at the bottom of your screen that says your password was changed.

Well done! Your password has been changed. Don’t share it with anyone else.
