How to sign up for an illumy account

Introduction

illumy is going to change the way you communicate. We’ve put together all the ways you talk to people—like email, chat, voice, and video—into one place. The app is easy and fun to use (and we’re always working to make it better).

It really is as amazing as it sounds.

(Tip: Be quick and get the best illumy email addresses first. Sign up now, before yourname@illumy.com is gone!) 

How do I sign up for an illumy account?

To sign up for a new illumy account, browse over to https://app.illumy.com 

illumy has a very easy sign-up process. Go to https://illumy.com on your web browser (Chrome is recommended) and click the “Don’t have an account? Sign Up” link at the bottom of the screen.

This selection will bring you to the “Create your illumy account” page. Next, we need some basic information and your username.

On the “Create your illumy account” page, 

• Type in your first name
• Type in your last name
• Choose your username. This will be your personal @illumy.com email address.
• Type a strong secure password, and  then enter it again in the confirmation field.
  • Your password should be 
    • 8 or more characters and 
    • A mix of letters, numbers, and symbols
• If prompted, click the checkbox next to “I am not a robot.”

• Click the Sign Up Free button.

Add a Recovery Email Address

Lastly, in the final field on the page enter an existing email that you currently own. 

• The existing email address you selected will be your “recovery email address
  • You should have access to this email 
  • This email will be used for verification and security purposes.

We will send you an email to check if it’s you. 

Click on the ‘Activation link’ in your email and you’re done!
