How to Make a New Password for Your illumy Account and Talk to Your People Again

If you can’t remember your illumy account password, don’t fret. Setting your password is easy.

To make a new password and log in to illumy again, do these steps.

1. Go to [illumy.com](https://illumy.com/) on a browser, that works with illumy, (Chrome is recommended)

3. Click the purple “Forgot Password?” link.

4. Enter your illumy email address or username and click Submit.

5. You’ll see a message that says we sent an email to your recovery email address (the one you gave us when you made your illumy account).

6. Check your recovery email account for the email from us. It might take a minute or two to get there. If you don’t see it, click the Resend Email button.

7. In the email from us, click the “Reset Password” link. You’ll go back to illumy and we’ll ask you to enter a new password.

8. Type your new password in the “Password” and “Confirm password” boxes. Make sure your password is strong. (https://krebsonsecurity.com/password-dos-and-donts/). ?????

9. Click SUBMIT.

10. You’re done! You can click the SIGN IN button to go back to the login page, or close the window. Keep your password safe, but remember you can make a new one anytime.

1. Open the illumy mobile app.

2. Tap Forgot Password below where you sign in.

3. In the new window, enter your illumy email address or username, and tap Submit.
